Course Overview: Families are an integral part of working in Revit Architecture and are key to creating custom content. Revit families are vital for companies working with Building Information Models (BIM), which are looking to maximise productivity. The course is designed for intermediate and advanced users who would like a better understanding of family creation and shared parameters. Families are a key component within the BIM processes, the topics covered in this course will allow the user to re-use existing content which will help accelerate your processes.
The course is presented by our team of specialists that will show you the theory behind the tools, and complete exercises which will help you understand the processes, which will allow you to implement your newly acquired skills and tools in your projects. You will learn how to create and edit families, apply constraints, shared parameters and understand nest families.
Recommended experience level: Knowledge of basic techniques is assumed, such as creating standard elements, copying and moving elements, creating and working with views.
Modality: 10 Days course (1 hour per day) delivered online using Microsoft Teams. (Free Microsoft Teams or Office 365 Account Required)
