About CitA Skillnet

The CitA Skillnet, a Skillnet Ireland learning network promoted by the Construction IT Alliance Limited (CitA), supports companies of all sizes in the Irish construction sector.

The network focuses on ICT training needs within the Irish construction industry and member companies include Architects, Engineers, Main Contractors, Professional Institutions, Quantity Surveyors, Sub Contractors and Suppliers.

CitA Skillnet is co-funded by Skillnet Ireland www.skillnetireland.ie  and member companies. Skillnet Ireland is funded from the National Training Fund through the Department of Education and Skills.

Training grants received by CitA Skillnet enable the network to provide a discount of up to 20% on most ICT Training courses to member companies.

CitA Skillnet Training Network is open to Companies and Sole Traders registered in the Republic of Ireland for €50 annual membership, or you can become a CitA Ltd member https://www.cita.ie/join-cita/.

CitA Skillnet is fully supportive of the Government’s efforts to effectively address and limit the spread of COVID-19 and to safeguard the protection of public health and that of our stakeholders.

CitA Skillnet management team are continuing to work and are available to discuss any queries that our businesses or trainees have regarding our scheduled training programmes and supports for businesses.

In support of this national effort, CitA Skillnet has been working with the training providers to find online solutions to keep delivering the training.

We would remind our stakeholders that the HSE website www.hse.ie is the authoritative source of information and advice on the situation regarding COVID-19 in Ireland.

Employment Activation Programme

CitA Skillnet focusses on supporting those in employment within the construction sector. A number of other Skillnet Networks participate in the Skillnet Ireland Employment Activation programme. This initiative is designed exclusively for unemployed people and includes free training in skills in demand by companies combined with direct access to employers through meaningful work placements.
