Course Overview The trainees will learn how to append and merge different file types, marking up and review the model, creating clash test and timeline, render and animations. The course is presented by our team of specialist that will show the theory behind the tools, but also practice classroom exercises which will help you to understand and furthermore put in practice the new acquire tools in your model. Option 2: 4 half days – 12 hours
This course is a virtual class based on our classroom course. Enabling attendees to implement Navisworks Manage. Focusing on the environment of Navisworks, Model Interaction and Review in Manage for the needs of the projects you are working on.
Session 1
Describe the main features and functionality of the Autodesk Navisworks software
Open and append 3D files of different formats and save in the Autodesk Navisworks format
Session 2
Create links to object properties files and scheduling files in external databases
Perform visual project model reviews using the built-in review and reporting tools
Session 3
Create construction simulations of a project model to check the validity of construction schedules
Use Animator and Scripter to create interactive animations for presentations and demonstrations
Session 4
Obtain take-off data from source models to create material estimates, measure areas, and count components
Perform interference detection tests between 3D files of different disciplines to check integrity of the design
Add true-to-life materials, and lighting and backgrounds to project models, to create photorealistic output
