Help garner insights and observations to assist the consortium focus on the five priority pillars identified in the bid call.

• Digital Leadership and Cultural Change– facilitate a single source of expertise where productivity, energy performance, lean construction, sustainability, decarbonisation, the circular economy, procurement and BIM co-exist and are actively promoted.
• Digital Standards – Strengthen Ireland’s commitment to digital information standards. For example, supporting business to adopt Open BIM (buildingSMART); National Build Digital toolkit; international information management standards eg. ISO19650 etc…
• Digital Education and Training– Develop a consistent digital experience in Irish education and industry to help grow digital competencies. For example, a base level of learning outcomes targeted at NFQ levels across Irish third level colleges accredited by professional bodies; an Open BIM education programme, shared digital content across Irish third level colleges etc…
• Digital Procurement – support a public information management mandate that will facilitate BOTH the implementation of public works projects AND private sector projects. For example, specific tailored guidance is targeted to better equip private clients and public authorities when adopting BIM and digital information management standards; National Cost Database etc ….
• Circular Economy – this cross-cutting theme will retain a focus on the contribution of the above pillars to optimising resources in our industry which will help accelerate change towards a sustainable circular economy. For example, help educate our sector to think and practice sustainability, reduce material use, implementation of ISO/TC 323 by procuring authorities etc…
