CitA Automation Series 2025

This series seeks to discover the technologies available today to support automating construction processes.

What is the purpose of the Series? 

Spanning six dynamic events, the series aims to empower construction professionals, particularly SMEs, with practical insights into leveraging automation, digital tools, and AI to enhance efficiency, quality and sustainability across of all phases of construction.

The series provides actionable strategies for integrating cutting-edge technologies into everyday workflows without overwhelming teams or increasing complexity.

Why the series is important to the sector?

By focusing on the real-world application of automation, the series encourages innovation while addressing key industry challenges such as labour shortages, rising costs, sustainability requirements, and housing delivery pressures.

CitA BIM Gathering 2025

The BIM Gathering 2025 is the 7th conference since its inception in 2013 and will broadly continue the theme of “Automation.” It celebrates 25 years of innovation in digital construction, focusing on the evolution of Building Information Modelling (BIM) standards, automation, and AI integration. This milestone event also coincides with the 25th anniversary of CitA, when the initiative began in DIT Bolton Street (now TU Dublin) in 1999. The conference will examine how Ireland has been at the forefront of digital transformation in construction, shaping global BIM practices while addressing the future of automated workflows and AI-powered solutions.
