My experience in the built environment began through commercial, student accommodation and high-end hospitality design following the completion of my B.Sc. (Hons) degree in TUD. Further developing into the healthcare and industrial design field. My keen interest of healthcare design began and further developed into an extensive research paper for the completion of my master’s degree in Applied Building Information Modelling and Management. I carried out my research into the use of 3D design technologies to investigate how it may assist in the design of ambulant cancer facilities. In doing so, I began to understand within the healthcare realm, what an optimal environment represents for healthcare professionals and cancer patients, to provide them with a high-quality supportive environment. I have recently joined TUD as a part-time lecturer teaching Revit and sharing my knowledge of what collaboration entails with like-minded student’s ready to join the built environment community.
