Intleacht Series 2026 is a six-part, use-case-driven programme designed to support the responsible and practical adoption of artificial intelligence across the construction and built environment sector in Ireland. The series is structured to guide organisations step-by-step from awareness to pilot projects and ultimately to scaled adoption, focusing on real construction workflows.
What is the overall purpose of the series?
To support the responsible and practical adoption of AI in Irish construction through a six-part, use-case-driven programme that guides organisations from awareness to pilot projects and grounded in real construction workflows.
When and where will the series be presented?
The series will be hosted online in focused 1-hour sessions to ensure maximum national reach and accessibility for participants across the country.
What topics will be explored in the series?
Event 1 – Foundations: Establishes the foundations for responsible AI adoption in construction, focusing on data readiness, governance, risk, and practical use cases for working with project information and compliance.
Event 2 – Generative Design & Planning: Explores how AI can enhance early-stage design and planning decisions through generative design, site analysis and planning optioneering to improve cost, carbon and programme outcomes.
Event 3 – Predictive Analytics: Shows how predictive analytics can strengthen programme, cost and commercial control using AI for forecasting delays, cost variance and risk avoidance with accountable oversight.
Event 4 – AI on Site: Demonstrates how computer vision can improve site safety, quality assurance and progress monitoring through real-time detection, reporting and ethical deployment.
Event 5 – AI, MMC & Automation: Examines how AI supports MMC, off-site manufacturing and automation by optimising production, QA, logistics and scalable industrialised delivery.
Event 6 – Scaling AI: Focuses on scaling AI from pilots to enterprise adoption using AI for whole-life asset performance, carbon/ESG reporting and lifecycle optimisation under robust governance.
