CITA Skillnets Eligibility / Costs




Training course costs vary depending on number of attendees etc. 
However, with the Skillnets contribution we are confident we can provide the best training for your firm at the keenest prices.

Companies / Sole Traders:

Membership is open to Companies and Sole Traders registered in the Republic of Ireland and is priced based on organisation size

0-9  :   €50
10-49 :  €150
50 - 249 :  €450
250 + : €450

As a member of the network, firms can avail of discounted training, receive free booklets and newsletters from CITA, and promote themselves on the CITA website.

  
Unemployed Trainees:

Subject to availability of places, CITA Skillnet can facilitate unemployed participants on most courses free of charge.

Skillnets’ unemployed criteria are as follows:

“Unemployed individuals include those registered with the Department of Social Protection and in receipt of Job-seekers Allowance or Job-seekers Benefit. Others who can be considered in this criteria include unemployed recipients of Disability Allowance, Blind Pension, Invalidity Pension, Illness Benefit, Lone Parents Allowance, Farm Assist, Back-to-Work Allowance (Scheme closed to new applicants - May 2009) and the Back-to-Work Enterprise Allowance.

The following unemployed individuals who are not in receipt of social welfare payments are also eligible to participate in Skillnets training: former sole traders and small business owners; recent graduates who are unemployed; individuals who don’t qualify for social welfare payment because of their spouse’s income; individuals, including former semi-state employees, signing on for credits but in receipt of no social welfare payment; or individuals who have accepted redundancy payments.

Please note that participants on the Community Employment, the Jobs Initiative labour market programmes and the Back to Education Allowance are not eligible to participate in Skillnets training.”
